Crop Prices Start Mostly Lower Early Tuesday
December corn was down 2 cents, November soybeans were down 12 cents and
December KC wheat was up 1/4 cent.

EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn was down 2 cents, November
soybeans were down 12 cents and December KC wheat was up 1/4 cent.
CME GLOBEX RECAP: Grain traders will continue to keep tabs on the latest
weather forecasts, especially for central Brazil. DTN Meteorologist John
Baranick and Lead Analyst Todd Hultman are giving presentations on what lies
ahead for weather and corn and soybean prices at Husker Harvest Days in Grand
Island, Nebraska.
OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial
Average up 484.18 at 40,829.59 and the S&P 500 Index up 62.63 at 5,471.05. The
10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.70%. Early Tuesday, September Dow Jones
futures are down 42 points. European markets are mostly lower with the spot
futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.50%, spot futures of Germany's
DAX trading down 0.34% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.03%.
Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 0.16% and China's
Shanghai Composite Index up 0.28%.
