Compared to last report, all grades of hay steady in a light test.
Trade remains slow to moderate with very good demand.
Most trade contacts have indicated that most of their hay crop is now
spoken for but not shipped yet.
As of March 2026 trade sources report full hay exports across the NWSA
were up 2.2% year-to-date (YTD) compared to 2025, with February 2026
showing a 4.9% increase in full hay exports.
The recovery is primarily driven by China's re-entry into the market,
alongside strong demand from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and the Middle
East.
